For this week’s Cooking for Peanuts we teamed up with Pyrex to make our baking even easier! We used Pyrex utensils to bake with ease and we were able to store our creation in the freezer/ fridge without a worry. These easy to make bars are gluten free and high in protein. You can adapt the recipe to make it just how you like it by adding different dried fruit, seeds, nuts, or nut butters. Make this healthy protein packed snack in under 10 minutes!
Ingredients:
¾ cup peanut butter
½ cup honey
1 ½ cups rolled oats
½ crushed Real Handful peanuts
¼ cup chocolate chips
Recipe:
Mix peanut butter and honey in a bowl
Add oats and mix
Add crushed peanuts and chocolate chips then mix until combined
Press into your baking dish evenly
Place in the freezer for about 1 hour
Cut into squares or rectangle sizes of your choice
Top Tip: store in the fridge to stop them from crumbling!
