Cooking for Peanuts: Fruit and Nut Fudge

For this week’s Cooking for Peanuts, we have teamed up with @carnation_uk to create a baking classic with a festive twist. Our fruit and nut fudge is perfect to share with family and friends! 🎁

You will need:

125g butter

375g caster sugar

1 tin of @carnation_uk Condensed Milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

100g festive dried fruit mix

50g @realhandful Sweet & Salty Peanuts


  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl add sugar, butter and condensed milk.
  3. Microwave for 1 minute then stir. Repeat this around 9 times, then stir until cooled and thickened.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract, half of the dried fruit and 25g peanuts.
  5. Pour into the baking tin then sprinkle on the remaining fruit and nuts.
  6. Cool for at least 3 hours then cut into squares.
